At Cherry Childcare we provide a warm, friendly atmosphere designed to promote happy, confident, fulfilled children. From the moment you enter a Cherry Childcare nursery, you’ll be impressed by cheerful rooms and happy faces.
Our teaching follows the concept of Active Learning through Purposeful Play. This is learning through action and activities rather than instruction – Learning is doing, discovering, exploring new sensations while involved in play-related activities both inside and out.
Our children spend time with their Child Development Supporter, building trust and friendship whilst exploring their environment and having fun. The start point for early year’s education is achieved through play, using activities and toys in a variety of ways to keep learning fun.
At Cherry Childcare we operate a “Child Development Records System”. Each child is assigned a member of the team in their group room. This Key Person is responsible for helping both you and your child to settle into the nursery.
Within the Cherry Childcare curriculum, we incorporate various key elements from a range of learning systems. All of these areas are important and are delivered through planned, purposeful play with a balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities.
Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfill their potential. A Child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances.
Cherry Childcare is committed to providing good, healthy nutritious meals for children in our care. All our meals are freshly prepared in-house that are both tasty and nutritious.
Each week our menu provides a balance of protein foods, featuring a Pork, Beef, Lamb, Poultry, Fish and Vegetarian item using a range of recipes that rotate over a four week period i.e. Tuna Risotto, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Mediterranean Lamb with couscous.
We are committed to the welfare and protection of all children in our care and will endeavor to protect children from harm. Cherry Childcare will ensure that concerns about children’s safety are properly investigated.
Child protection procedures are set in place at all our nurseries and we are fully aware of and will abide by these procedures. In following these guidelines we will work together with parents.
The Cherry Childcare Day Nursery & Pre-school group was founded in 1993. We are dedicated to providing quality daycare through our outstanding early years practitioners and educators, training, and facilities in order to achieve the best childcare and early years learning results.
