Nursery News
The start of 2012 at Cherrybrook has been a truly enjoyable one and the nursery has been filling up fast. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new clients and their children to the nursery. As we are getting busier the spaces in the nursery are becoming very limited resulting in us having to decline some clients requests for extra sessions and change's to sessions. We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. If you are considering changing your child's sessins with us we strongly advise that you complete a request form (located outside the office) as soon as possible, so that we can work with you to manage the changes needed. All changes of sessions will require 2 months notice.
Recommending a Friend
We would like to remind all clients of our recommend a friend offer which can entitle you to free childcare. If you recommend any new children to the nursery and they joint CherryBrook you will be entitled to up to 5 days free childcare after their they have started. Places are very limited so please feel free to pop by the office to pick up some information about our nursery for you to give to any friends of family that you know might be looking for childcare in the future.
Accidents at Home
As we are all aware children are prone to having trips and bumps as they are growing up. Many of you will have experienced your child taking a tumble which has resulted in them having minor injuries, cuts and scrapes. We would be most grateful if you could inform the nursery when dropping off your child of any significant information such as ' Joey has a bruise on his head, he fell over in the park' ,we will record this information and ask you to sign to confirm that you have notified of us. If you have any questions regarding this please feel free to discuss it with me at any time.
Chinese New Year - Year of the Dragon
Don't forget that we are celebrating Chinese new year on Wednesday 25th of January. Please can we ask that all of the children come in wearing red on this day. A number of exciting activities will take place throughout the week to encourage the children to gain some experience and knowledge of how Chinese new year is celebrated. Any items that you may have at home to help us with this day will be greatly appreciated. For example - chop sticks, Chinese food packaging or menus, Chinese masks/outfits or some Chinese music.
